Simcoach Games Accelerates Game Design, Immersive Learning, and the Metaverse Workforce Development Program
Simcoach Games announced an expanded workforce development initiative to address internal talent needs and market demand for online gaming, immersive learning, and metaverse development talent. With three levels of talent, including a summer pre-apprenticeship program for aspiring high school seniors and recent graduates, an ongoing internship program for college students, and ongoing full-time registered apprenticeships for high school graduates, these initiatives position Simcoach as a leader. foundational technology training resource for next-generation media experiences, healthcare applications, business processes, and educational instruction.
Building on the success of the 2021 Summer Apprenticeship Program, Simcoach’s 2022 Workforce Development Initiative has added a more diverse array of participants to bring new perspectives, ideas and insight. energy to creating transformational online experiences. By collaborating with the resident expertise of the Simcoach studio, this cohort of apprentices and interns will build applications on neurodiversity and the environment while developing technical, creative and business skills transferable to multiple applications, companies and sectors.

Apprentices and trainees will be trained, coached, managed and supervised according to the “Simcoach-way”. This means that apprentices and trainees will be Simcoach employees with assignments directly related to Simcoach product development strategy and business objectives. Instruction will be led by Simcoach studio staff, with development sprints, conceptualization and prototyping, testing and validation, presentation to senior management, and culminating in integration into the Simcoach catalog. Activities will be hands-on and team-based to prepare apprentices and interns for eventual employment with Simcoach or other companies where innovation, technical sophistication and design thinking are valued.
